I have a 2010 Chev Tahoe Hybrid w/125,000 km. I was driving down the highway when I could feel a vibration and slight ticking noise. I pulled over and stoped. restarted the engine and found the noise to be getting worse. I had it towed back to the dealership ($150), for them to tell me that I ran it dry of oil. There were absolutely no warnings, light bells or whistles to tell me that I was low on oil. The dealership informs me that the cost to fix it is $4100. They also said that this vehicle is not equipped with an low oil light etc. (I find this very hard to believe).
Has anyone encounted this problem?
