Pickup on all 4 wheels is used for AWD & ABS and when one fails these systems quit & you are left with just Front wheel drive & basic brakes. This happened twice in very bad snow storms, making driving more dangerous & 1 replacement had to be replaced as the bearing clearance was excessive noticed by the head mechanic
I had a chev Astro with over 100,000 miles on it & Never had an issue with the AWD or ABS.
Now it occasionally fails & now have to hurry to the garage when it occurs & leave it running as sometimes it normalizes when turned off.
I like the vehicle otherwise, but hopefully the technician can diagnose when I can bring in showing failure.
