Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

I had 1988 dynasty 3.0 lit engine put 463234 K.M.(289521.MILES) ,1998 CHRYSLER INTREPID 2.7LIT engine sold at 314444.KM (196527. MILES) Now have 2004 CHRYSLER INTREPID SE 2.7LIT engine 133778.KM (83611.MILES) never opened any of these engines .Never had sludge problems .Changed oil & Filter at every 5000.KM (3125.MILES) My son has 1998 CHRYSLER INTREPID 3.2 LIT ENGINE with over 300,000 KM.(187500.MILES) and he changes oil at every 5000.km & engine runs great. Every 100,000.KM we do engine flush approx $7.00 . So i think any thing over 5000.km is reason for oil sludge & engine seize.
