Can't believe they are failing at just 100k miles. This is a vital engine part that should be made of materials that can handle the specifications for a 4 wheel drive sport vehicle. And the design of these placed under the heads where this ticking noise will cost over 2k to have fixed? Ridiculous. Just read about a lawsuit against GM for the same problem on the same model engine in the newer vehicles. So these have been causing problems since they were built. Love my Hummer and its my go to vehicle for work And play! And trying to find the right parts has been a nightmare! I can buy the lifters but where they are placed theres a ton of gaskets and seals that will need replaced when you do the repair just getting to these lifters and lifter trays! Ugh
