Dealer diagnosed that excessive metal particles in oil caused engine failure. Vehicle is out of warranty period, so not covered. Dealer refuses to acknowledge the problem as a defect. Dealer refuses to acknowledge that this issue has occurred for other cars. The manufacturer denied the request to repair as "good will". The manufacturer denied the request pay half the repair cost as "good will".

This really sucks because we bought the car 2 years prior, and still owe payments for 3 more years. Since we still have to make payments on this broken-down car for 3 more years, we can't afford to get a decent replacement car.
