Since I have owned by Hyundai I have always kept up with the maintenance on the vehicle. Oil changes regularly, tire rotations etc. I became more concerned after being told several times that the car was "bone dry".
How could this be? I never noticed a leak or had any concerns. But it is occurring more and more. I am having to put oil in my car before my next oil change and that is not acceptable. Then there is the underlying concern, where is the oil going if I don't have a leak? Am I safe to continue driving my car? Will this problem leave me and my daughter stranded, injured or dead? I do not have the money to fix an engine problem if this is where I am headed. I am also not the only owner that is having this problem.
The reason I bought this car was because Hyundai had a credible reputation. It would be beneficial for Hyundai to get this matter under control before something really terrible happens. They may be walking away now from their customers concerns but will they be able to walk away when this turns into a major problem? Word of mouth goes both ways.
