The water pump literally blew out with 101,437 miles on it and was not covered under warranty. I had the dealership replace the water pump for over a grand! Now the temperature gauge goes up high when I put on the air conditioner and I am in traffic. This is my 12th new Hyundai and I typically have had no problems with my other ones. Personally, I think its a defective water pump causing the problem and they probably put the same manufacturers water pump back in the car when it went down. So, I imagine the pump will blow out again in the near future.
