The check engine light comes on without any incident or identifiable reason. I've changed the gas cap, cleaned the sensors, replaced other sensors and controllers, but always with the same code that indicates that a sensor was faulty. Very frustrating, especially when the check engine light goes out while driving and no maintenance or event could be cause for the light to go out. This is a pain, since every time it happens, I service the vehicle to eliminate these "ghost" signals.
