The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata equipped with Goodyear assurance tires, size: P205/65R16 (na). While driving 35 mph, the vehicle made a loud rumbling noise and the rear driver side tire blew out. The contact stated that the tire had several rips in the tread. The dealer was not contacted about the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was approximately 150,000.

The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle is equipped with hankook optimo H431 tires, size 225/45R18V. While the vehicle was being serviced for an oil change, the technician noticed a bubble on the sidewall and part of the tread of the front passenger side tire. The contact was informed that the tire needed to be replaced. The contact made numerous attempts to notify the manufacturer, but he did not receive a return phone call. The tire was not repaired. The tire failure mileage was 42,000 and the vehicle failure mileage was 46,000.
