I have had problems with my Tiburon since I got the car most of the things have been covered by warranty. November 17 2001 the car had 2486 miles on it the alarm started going off while I was driving down the highway. I got it turned off about 20 minutes later and for the next two days the alarm kept going off for no reason. Nov 20 I couldn"T get it to turn off at all so I took it to the dealership. The said a wire shorted out and fixed it at no cost to me. In December of 2002 the drivers side door started sticking and one day I came out of work and it wouldn?T open at all I took it in to the dealer they said the door was falling off and that they replaced a latch at no cost to me. The car was at 17642 miles at this time. The day before my appt for the door I was driving and all the sudden the radio just went off and wouldn?T come on. They had to replace the radio also at no cost to me. January of 03 was when the big problem started with the engine the car wouldn?T start I had it towed to Hyundai they said there was carbon build up on the engine. They cleaned it and gave it back they didn?T find the cause and didn?T explain anything else to me. But at that time the car only had 18704 miles on it. Since then the car has had problems starting I?ve taken it back to the dealer a few times the car died on the road and the check engine light came on I had it towed in they said it was just the spark plugs battery was fine and that the car was due for a tune up which cost me $282.12 the car was at 27666 miles they also replaced the oxygen sensor that day {11/9/03} at no cost to me. I got the car back {28909 miles}. it still won?T run right and had a hard time starting. I took the car back on 10/21/03. They said that the battery had a bad cell. I didn?T want to pay them for anything but the tech there said if I didn?T they couldn"T look at the car anymore until they ruled out the battery being the problem so I spent $58.37 on a battery.
