Hyundai has been nothing short of awful. First they won't admit to this issue, offering to repair the valve cover gaskets with me forking the repair (north of $1,500 per valve cover, it has 2). Second, not charging me for the 3rd alternator after my wife threw a fit for the ages and me simply questioned if a call to my lawyer was necessary to get things rolling.
Now is the day before Thanksgiving 2021 and I have already spent the past 4 hours trying to fix bank 1 oil leak that led to the failure of piston no. 1 coil failing a 2nd time!
What many may oversee is this is AFTER I've spent countless hours in online searches and well over $1,000 in parts (Fel-Pro VS 50750R, Fel-Pro MS 97227, 2 sets of spark spark plugs, a set of new coils), tools, towing, missed work shifts, grievances and what not fixing first Bank 2 (a few months ago) then today Bank 1 replacing the valve cover gaskets. This issue has been going on since my 2011 Veracruz LTD hit the 50K mile mark. And, continues today - just past 320K miles!
