Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. 2002 Hyundai XG350 sudden acceleration when starting off from a stop. Car starts off slow then suddenly accelerates causing the car to lunge forward. Also, car will run smooth then start cutting out and can't get the car to go any faster than 40mph. Dealer has replaced several computer modules but did not cure the symptoms.

The contact owns a 2002 Hyundai XG350. The vehicle caught fire while it was parked in the garage. The vehicle had been parked for 20 minutes. The failure occurred without warning. The cruise control was activated for 40 miles before the vehicle was parked. The fire originated in the engine compartment and was extinguished by the fire department. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop. The contact has pictures, if needed. The current and failure mileages were 60,000.
