Whilst driving along a straight road, I heard a loud Crack. A hairline crack had appeared down the plastic decal of the climate control system and the audio system panel, about 18" long. When I took the car to the dealer, they sent a photo of the crack to the manufacturers (this car has a 5 year Warranty and this was only 5 months after purchasing it) Manufacturers say it is not a crack but a scratch and refused to carry out the repair. I feel that there should be some form of Independent Arbitration in cases such as this. I say it is a Crack, They say it is a scratch. I am a 74 year old lady, so there are no children in the car to cause this damage.
