A gasket inside the timing chain cover failed allowing oil to seep inside and cover a sensor that causes the vehicle to go into limp mode. It then must be towed for repairs. In this case the warranty had expired, but due to the low miles and having followed the maintenance schedule at the dealership, Infiniti came through and covered the cost of repairs. I still own and enjoy driving that vehicle to this day and will for many years to come.

It's a "J" car that has not experienced any additional issues other than front brake squeal which was a part wear issue and not a failure.
