Engine reves by itself while driving and when you are stopped the car surges forward. This caused an accident. This has happened too numerous to count. Vehiccle has been to dealer (bernard Isuzu) 5 times, not repaired, requesting replacement from manufacturer. They are unresponsive.

No matter what speed/ under wet or dry conditions while pressing on brakes and hitting a bump, car will accelerate. Consumer feels that the bumps set off the acceleration, and feels unsafe driving.

Vehicle revved very high. In park the engine revved up to 2,000 rpms. Consumer had to increase stopping distance because vehicle was very hard to stop. Vehicle downshifted hard and accelerated as fast as 60mph without putting foot on throttle.

Occasionally, when braking the car to come to a stop, the car begins accelerating and revving at high rpms. This causes the car to lunge violently forward. It is very difficult to stop the car with only the brakes, therefore you are forced to shift the car into park in order to prevent serious injury.

Vehicle experiences sudden acceleration while cruise control is at a low speed of 25 mph. Consumer has to brake constantly to maintain speed. Engine idles very high when cold and has trouble idling down even after reaching normal operating temperatures..
