Our 2000 Isuzu tropper is dangerous to drive. The defects of the car could potentially cause dead or could cause serious bodily injuries. The reduce power is very dangerous because the driver will be traveling at highway posted speeds up to 70 mph and the car will automatically reduce speed to as low as 35 mph. The car also reduces power for speeds as low as 40 mph to about 15 mph and there is nothing the driver can do. Due to this default, our lives have been placed in danger because we have had to make erratic moves to avoid being in an accident. Another problem with the car occurs when it is at idle (for example, a red traffic light), the car will simply shut-off. The vehicle has become so unsafe we have stopped driving it and now rely on one vehicle. We taken the car in six times and it still not repaired. A. harris

Engine check engine light kept coming on intermittently back in October (about once a week for three weeks) told that it was a problem with our foot touching the accelerator before starting the car. Came on again and I drove it right in and they said they couldn't find anything. Watch our driving habits! came on and stayed on for 9 days straight. Brought it out and dealer said it didn't happen when they had it but after doing the oil change they started up the car and said that it came on and needed a throttle adjustment. Brought it back out for the throttle adjustment and problem seemed to have dissappeared. One day it came back on again. Brought it out and the computer acknowledged another minor adjustment to the throttle was needed. They did this and the problem seemed to have gone away. Monday, January 29, the check engine light came on again. Thursday, February 1, it came on and simultaneously the reduced power light came on. This time dealers came and got the car and five trouble codes registered on the computer. Fixed problem again and reset the computer. I have had it! there is no rhyme to reason as to why this happens and we don't know when it will! I cannot rely on this car!
