The contact owns a 2010 Jaguar Xf. While driving various speeds, a fuel odor entered the vehicle. The contact noticed fuel leaking under the child safety seat. The contact called an unknown Jaguar dealer in dallas, Texas, but the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where they informed the contact that the fuel flange needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 16V187000 (fuel system, gasoline). The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
