I took my car into the KIA Dealership which is where I have been going since I purchased this vehicle brand new in 2012. As a result of the recent recall which is due to the airbag control unit '(ACU"), I did not have any indicator lights in my car on. After having the service completed on my car the Air Bag Safety Indicator light is now on and has stayed on in my vehicle. I was informed that I should pay for a Diagnostic Test and perhaps this will eliminate the problem. It may be due to a sensor which is near the engine.
Why do I have to pay a fee as a result of having my car serviced due to the Recall. Especially when there were no lights on regarding Air Bag Safety.
