I am not sure if it is a factory defect. I took it to the dealer same day and I was told that if key comes out okay, they can't troubleshoot the issue. I read a lot of complaining in youtube.com, some people disconnect the negative battery terminal and key goes out. Problem is when you turn off the engine, key refuses to come out of the ignition cylinder.
