Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

The contact owns a 2015 Kia Optima equipped with hankook tires, tire line: Optimo H431, and tire size: 225/45/R18V. The contact stated that the front driver's side tire exhibited bubbles on the side wall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The front driver's tire was not replaced. The tire was original equipment. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was of the tire and the vehicle was 11,000. The VIN was not available.

The contact owns a 2015 Kia Optima. While driving at approximately 55 mph, the brakes failed. As a result, the contact lost control of the vehicle and began driving on the sidewalk. The front passenger side tires exploded and destroyed the rim. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
