Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety. Notes: The 2011 Kia Sedona received a poor rollover rating from the IIHS.

2011 Kia Sedona is the first Kia I have purchased. On June 22, 2012, I was returning home; living on a hill I slowly (less than 10 mph) turned to the right into my driveway, when suddenly, with no warning, that van accelerated making a loud roar. I stood on the brakes with little effect and the van continued to accelerate knocking down three 4X4 posts embedded in concrete, crossing through a garden and then into a bush. The van was headed to a 20 feet drop at the edge of my property. Fortunately, a tall bush, and bamboo thicket had begun building up under and in front of the vehicle to stop its progress. The van stopped just short of the drop off, unable to go further. It required a special tow truck to retrieve the van. The van was ok to drive, but had nearly $11,000 damage to the front and side. I did not suffer injury, but I am adamant that the fuel injection system needed to be replaced. The Kia has potential fatal shortcomings, which should be corrected or the model taken off the road.
