The wires leading from the engine to the dash were coated using some kind of soy-based covering which is (apparently) delicious to pack rats. They chewed the wires and now literally nothing works on our dash. It started out as shorting out the speedometer (and if the speedometer isn't working then it's not logging the proper mileage), but now it includes the AC/heater system, radio, lights and dials, etc. Basically the only thing left working on this car is the engine, which, I guess if I had to pick ONE thing to keep working, it'd be that.
