My son is sustained serious facial injuries in a crash due to failure of steering wheel airbag. He has a fractured nose and orbital bone, as well as a concussion and neck injury. IF YOU HAVE A 2006 KIA SPORTAGE- PLEASE HAVE AIRBAG CHECKED OUT. A WARNING LIGHT NEVER CAME ON AND WE NEVER GOT A RECALL IN REFERENCE TO THIS MATTER! This was an otherwise awesome car that we never had any real problem with- but airbag failure is no joke!
