I have purchased a 2008 Kia Sportage and I am disabled and obese. I telephoned Kia to request a seat belt extension and they informed me that NHTSA said that they were not allowed to make them. Why do all other auto manufacturers Ford, Chrysler, Cadillac offer seat belt extensions?
