The car has the optional keyless "push to start" ignition switch that requires applying the brakes before hitting the start button. So when the brake light switch fails, the car won't start. This switch fails every 10,000 to 15,000 miles, so I had to buy a spare to keep in the glove box and show my wife how to replace it so she doesn't have to call a wrecker driver every time this $15 switch fails!! What a POS!
