Right now I am waiting for the dealer to see the car this Monday, Jan 29th. I only found out now, that there has been problems with the Kia Sportage motor.
As I was driving on the highway, I started hearing a rattling noise from the motor. Soon the engine light came on. When I got to the city, ( only 20 minute drive ) ..I checked the oil and was down 1 litre. which I added. After adding the oil, the engine light went off. But the motor rattle was still there.
I have an appointment at the dealership this coming Monday. I am not sure if this problem would be covered.
by an extended warranty?
The Kia only has 112,100 kms.
