My Sportage's air conditioning stopped working under 2500 RPM when it was a year old. Unfortunately, I had too many miles on the car to have it under warranty. Today, it kicks in and out during a normal drive, but does not work under 2500 RPM. I tried to purchase an AC refill kit but found that Kia has a special fitting on the AC recharge point, so have not fixed it yet.
