Brake pedal low when pushed for first time. Pedal will pump up to where I would consider it a good brake pedal. Pedal will also creep down with pressure being held, however brake warning light does not light. Took to dealer twice for this complaint and they said it was normal no failures yet, but waiting!

Consumer wanted to back vehicle up 3-4 feet, when he applied brakes, there was a rattling sound from ABS system and pedal went to the floor. Vehicle hit another vehicle. Brakes had failed the same way twice before. Damage to both vehicles was 4000 dollars. Recall 02V02200 repairs were done before this accident. Since reporting the previous, the vehicles brakes failed again. Consumer put foot on the brake so he could shift gears. The vehicle started to roll forward while brakes were depressed. Consumer placed car in park and pumped brakes. The brakes were operable after that.
