The contact owns a 2006 britax E9L57-boulevard child seat. The contact stated that the child seat jerked forward and fell to the right. She stated that the strap, which was used to secure the child seat, ended up outside the vehicle underneath the passenger side rear tire. She felt that the strap was too long. As of September 25, 2007, the manufacturer had not inspected the seat. The manufactured date and failure type were unknown. *updated 12/12/07 updated 12/12/07
