I had a problem with the Sirius XM ever since I bought my MKC last October. I had noticed that the satellite radio keeps on dropping. Sometimes it takes like 2 mins. before it comes back again. This problem is just so annoying. I finally went to the dealer to complain about this problem. They took the car and by the end of the day, I was just told that they are looking into it and get back on me as soon as possible. I told them that I had talked to Sirius and they told me that the problem is with the car, probably the antenna. I hope that my complain will reach the Lincoln management and solve this problem.

I'm told by my dealer that Ford is aware of the problem with the Sirius radio cutting out. I have advised the dealer that it happens at the same locations each and every time I drive through them but I'm also finding more. It could be out in the open or between buildings. It seems to occur near cell phone towers, though not when passing in every direction.

If I were to report multiple events of the same problem, I would be filing the same complaint, maybe several times a day. It is a continuous and ongoing issue.

I had a 08 Mercury Hybrid with Sirius radio prior to the purchase of the 2015 MKC and had no problems. Now, driving the same streets I am having problems with the radio dropping the signal (not under bridge or freeway overpass, that is expected) in the same locations day after day. The Mercury had a conventional antenna and the MKC has a small "FIN" type antenna.

Complained to the dealer twice, could not find any problem. A salesman took me out for a test in another MKC and we had the same issue. I believe the MKC has a bad antenna system

That tells me it is a systemic problem with the MKC and not just my vehicle.

Hope if enough people complain we can resolve this issue.
