Active braking failed to respond when a vehicle shot out in front of me. I slammed on the brakes, missing the other vehicle by mere feet. Contacted Dealer and Lincoln and received responses like, there is no designated test to check the system, if other systems are working it is "assumed" the system is functioning properly. Apparently Lincoln has no test to check the system, I am starting to feel the the system is actually fictitious. Another dealer has a banner they stretch across a lane to show the customers that their system actually works. I feel Lincoln should be made to prove this advertised system actually performs ad described.
