The contact owns a 2006 Lincoln Town car. The contact stated that the air bag light illuminated and the vehicle started making a loud beeping sound. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that the air bag sensor was defective and needed to be replaced. The air bag sensor was replaced several times but it failed to remedy the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000.
