My wife was driving her 2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor with my 90 year old father in law in the passenger seat and me in rear passenger seat. The vehicle started to violently shake side to side and when my wife hit the brakes, it got worse. It felt like all all the tires were loose. I found that both sides of the main suspension had rusted out and broke. Fortunately, we were on a service road and not on a main road or highway. This definitely would have killed us or someone else driving by.

I have been a mechanic for over thirty years and this is definitely a safety issue. The manufacturers need to be held accountable on the products they put on our roads. I have searched and don't see any other Mitsubishi with this problem. That really surprises me. I have no ideas how much it will cost yet for repairs, or if it is repairable. Shame on Mitsubishi, for my family will not buy another one.
