My Lancer is definitely one of the most dependable vehicles I have ever owned. Until one problem occurred. I was on a trip with my daughter, sister, and her children going a little over the speed limit, but I get a slow down warning and all of the sudden my car shuts off. It will not accelerate. I was trying to get off an exit coasting. Almost had an awful pile up with tractor trailers and several vehicles... Luckily, I got off on the exit and was able to park. I let it sit about 20mins then it drove perfect.

Few months later on the highway again, this time alone at night... happens again. This time it was almost like it was overheating at the same time. Mitsubishi told me there was a recall and they ended up fixing 2 recalls that day, drove perfect another 3 months and then AGAIN. Went back to Mitsubishi and they acted like they had no clue what I was talking about????? Help??!
