The people at Mitsubishi told me it was from driving in 4WD mode. It was making the noise when I was driving out of 4WD mode. My auto was advertised as 4WD when I bought it, but the dealer tells me I can't put my NEW car in 4WD mode. Contemplating hiring an attorney; I don't want to spend the money but I do want to get what I initially paid for.
