These cars are infamous for a piss-poor door handle design from the first year of ownership I've had to replace a door handle here and there. Whats really cool is when they both break at once and you have to try and crawl through your trunk then through the back seat if you can get it to fold down to get into your vehicle ! And living in Minnesota makes it worse for the cold wheather is exceptionally hard on the cheap fatigued plastic and the few bits of metal that go into the design. At one time I got so pissed off that when I got the car home I took a sledge to the drivers side door to let off some steam ! Replaced the door with another one from the junk yard and three months later I had the same problem.

Unfortunately GM put a great engine in the thing and it just does'nt know how to die. With a 170,000 miles on her and still going strong, thinkin about yanking the engine to put into another body style.I just can't get into the thing to drive it.If you plan on buying a used Cutlass supreme years 92,93,94 or 95 beware of the door handle fiasco or keep a crate of handles out in your garage. I finally found a place that sells them for $ 35 apiece ! Good Luck !!
