I have a 1991 Olds 88 with a V6 3800cc engine that cuts off while the car is in motion. Sometimes it restarts right away; sometimes not. Sometimes it idles high right after cranking, and sometimes it maintains constant speed even though the gas pedal isn't engaged. I have replaced the full pump and plugs, but the problem continues. I've had this car in two different shops, and mechanics are scratching their heads trying to figure out what's wrong with it. Any ideas?
