The major complaint I have with this automobile is the electrical system. The lights constantly flare and flicker as if they are shorting out. GM has claimed that there was a problem with the alternator and after a substantial wait for a remedy that being a redisigned alternator GM still has not fixed the problem. The lights have flickered on and off since the auto was purchased. The mechanics at my dealership have tried but failed to find the problem. The alternator has been replaced twice one by the dealer in desperation and again when the newly redesigned from GM arrived after nearly 6 months from the original promise of a fix came in.my greatest fear is that the computer in this car will fail with all the power surges being put through the electrical sytem. In my opinion this has manifested itself already with the need to reprogram the computer in this car. As this auto was purchased new I would have thought I was purchasing a vehicle free from defects. I hope that this vehicle doesn't turn into a money pit. Thank goodness these problems began while under warranty hopefully GM will continue to honor the warranty after it expires.
