circulation pump failure circulation pump failure

Began smelling wires burning then had full smoke rolling out of the hood. Found two wire connector that goes to the heater circulation pump melting down. This pump is located just above the air filter and just below the engine coolant tank. Mounted to brace with a rubber sleeve. Pump part number GM #10438993 MSRP $201.97
