2000 Grand Voyager. Strut tower rust problem. This is a known and common issue and Chrysler will not fix this defect through a recall, which they absolutely should!

Front wheel strut towers rusted out; this is apparently a wide spread problem with Chrysler minivans. Complete rust out causes the front wheel to collapse.

: the contact stated upon visual inspection it was noticed the strut towers were rusted. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop who determined the strut towers needed to be replaced. The vehicle is located in a salt belt state. Updated 10/17/2006 - updated 03/07/07

Vehicle pulls right while accellerating. Replaced was the transmission, power steering rack, axles, capers, etc..(too numerous to mention). Alignments, swapping tires, etc, did not resolve the problem. Filed under lemon law, Chrysler is refunding purchase price. Vehicle is not fixable per dealership and Chrysler.
