Traveling from n. Ohio to New Orleans it ran fine till just outside of Tupelo Miss. about 925 miles Going along 50 mph the van just starts dieing Asthough it were running out of gas. By luck I was able to coast it down the exit. Checked under the hood everything looked fine. Waited for about 15 minutes it started back up. Got it to the first motel, next morning it started right up. I got about 80 miles down the road, it acts like it running out of gas dies on side of road. waited about 15 minutes started it right up made it about 10 miles. waited half an hour got about3.5 miles. I did this till a was 40 miles north of Jackson Miss. Gave up and called my Big Brother to bring a dolly&truck. Once at my brothers' farm. It started right up drove it to town about 10 miles to wash all the salt off drove back home it did not miss a beat. I have to make the return trip in less than a month. I don't trust it. By the way when it first broke down i called a friend who works at a Dodge dealer his tech said to replace the pickup coil in the dist. cap. Before I left Tupelo I bought the pickup coil. As I said earlier from Tupelo I got 80 miles south when it died. when it did I put the new pickup coil on and it started right up i thought alright. But as i said it only went about 10 miles so I would think i wasted 35 bucks on the pickup coil. Yesterday i put the first pickup coil back on it started right up. So what do you guys think it could be, don't want to be breaking down in Ohio in January. Thanks Joe
