Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. : the contact stated that the left front strut tower of the vehicle appeared to have an unusual amount of rust on top. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop on 12/28/04 who determined it would have to be replaced and that it was a common problem on this model. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop on 02/18/05 for replacement of front struts, rear shocks, and wheel alignment. The repair shop noticed that the right front strut tower was also rusted and would need to be replaced. Updated 8/9/2006 - rust was first observed by and independent repair shop May 6, 2004.
