Factory Ram 3500 NEXEN tires are crap and literally dangerous! My 2017 Ram 3500 6.7L Dually suffered a second factory NEXEN Roadian tire tread separation, the first a front tire at 14,412 miles in late 2020, and now on a rear tire at 18,312 miles in early 2021. Noticed a severe vibration from the rear and found a cupped rear tire where the tread was separating internally. Luckily again, I discovered it on local driving and before it catastrophically failed out on the road pulling my 34 ft horse trailer loaded with roping horses.
My research has found tons of complaints on 2017 & 2018 Ram 3500s with tread separation on NEXEN Roadian tires, some with catastrophic failures. With all these complaints, Ram should have recalled these tires and replaced and/or reimbursed for new, better, different tires. Don't ever buy a NEXEN Roadian 10 ply truck tire for your big rig!! If you have them on your rig now, replace them ASAP! And never accept them on a new vehicle from the dealer either! Show them the research and failures and demand they be replaced.
