Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. : the contact stated while driving 40 mph as the vehicle was getting onto an exit, while applying the brake to slow down; the car fishtailed and hit a guardrail. The vehicle was totaled as a result of the extensive front end damage. There were no problems noted with the vehicle prior to the accident and there were no lights illuminated on the dash. There was a police report filed. The police report and the insurance company inspected the vehicle and determined the wheel and hub detached causing the accident. Updated 6/30/2006 -
