Within one year of having this new vehicle, the shifter wouldn't go into third and was balky. OEM dealer had to replace a couple of gear components in the gearbox. Eventually, the whole transmission broke and I had to replace the clutch and flywheel, the transmission (with a low mileage used one) and have the drive shaft overhauled. What a nasty little beast of a vehicle! This was by far the worst model year for this Subaru model and Subaru never acknowledged anything. All the bad can be reviewed here and on any Subaru owner club around the world. BTW I have had 6x Subarus and only this model has given me so much grief and been so expensive to drive.
