On sunny days the lane monitoring detects white lines 70% of the time and yellow lines 50% of the time. On cloudy/rainy days the lane monitoring detects white lines 20% of the time and yellow lines 5% of the time. In the evening the lane monitoring detects white lines 10% of the time and yellow lines 5% of the time. The dealership service department indicated that the lane monitoring is working as designed. Is there something that can be done to make the lane monitoring more efficient? Does the EyeSight camera lenses need to be cleaned regularly?
