My 2014 Subaru Impreza seems to have no center/straight when driving on a straight road/ highway at speeds upwards of 50 miles per hour. The wheel is straight but the car drifts/pulls (either right or left). After correcting and re-centering the car the drift resumes pulling one direction or the other. If I remove my hands from 10 and 2 o'clock the car is very unpleasant to drive. If I remove one hand completely the car becomes a wandering menace on the road.

I asked about it when I went back to the dealership to get my license plates and they said, "just bring it in and we'll check the tires/ alignment." That didn't make a ton of sense to me as the car never seems to favor one direction over the other. The next time I brought it in someone different at the Subaru service center questioned whether I understand how grooves in the pavement can pull a vehicle to which I answered "yes, I have been driving for 20 years, I get the concept of ruts in the road." They "serviced" my vehicle and deemed it safe but the problem persists. I took it for a test drive with a very nice service technician and he acknowledge that the car wandered and that you constantly had to steer with very minor hand/ forearms adjustments being constantly necessary when on a straight stretch of highway.

I have generally received "blow-off" treatment from the dealership twice being told I would receive a phone call on a Monday and hearing nothing back for days or weeks until I finally gave up and decided to make contact with them again. I am trying to get in touch with someone who truly understands the vehicle and what the problem might be. I saw 10+ posts about the 2013 Subaru Outback that seemed to have the same problem and I brought those complaints to the dealership where they informed me that the Outbacks and Imprezas are entirely different which I presume to be true but the problem seems to be the same.
