Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

2014 Subaru Impreza Owner Comments

problem #3

Mar 022015

  • 30,000 miles

There is a problem with the suspension system on the Subaru Impreza. The inside of the tires will wear out prematurely and the outside of the tire will have plenty of tread on it. If the owner does not check the whole tire they will miss it and could result in a blown tire. Have heard of many Impreza owners having this problem. Talked to a service manager and they indicated that they have seen this problem also. It needs looked at before somebody get hurt or killed.

Car unexpectedly accelerated in a remote area of a parking lot in a mall. Went over a curb, crossed a grassy area and struck a tree. Driver indicates that brakes were applied to no avail. Rear driving wheels were depressed into the ground after the car was stopped by the tree, indicating the possibility that the car was still accelerating after it was stopped by the tree.
