I called Suzuki because I saw that 2006 Forenza's had a recall on the plastic interior door handles breaking! I am pissed because the passenger handle broke in 2008 but I just super glued it and kept going. Then in 2009 the drivers side door handle broke so I glued it and kept going. Then yesterday the drivers side door handle broke again but in a different spot. Tried to glue it but the place it broke can't be glued. So I went online to see how to fix it and I see that the 2006 Suzuki Forenza's interior door handles were on recall for the same issue. But Suzuki won't fix the problem! And they made it so u have to take the entire door panel off to fix it. If I take it to the dealership, the price will knock my head off. Everyone online says if u take the door panel off the plastic clips inside will break! They know these door handles are a piece of crap because they used the same ones in the 2006 Forenza and recalled them. I'm pissed off. I had head gasket issues the first year of this car, thank God I was under warranty. Then I had to replace the a/c compressor. And Suzuki won't fix these cheap door handles!
