A few weeks after the vehicle was purchased the consumer received a recall on the vehicle's fuel pressure regulator.

The consumer received a recall notice, but when she took her vehicle to the dealer, they did not have the parts to repair the recall. She states that she was told by the dealer that the manufacturer only sent 10 parts at a time. They do not know when more will be arriving. Recall # 04V427000.

While traveling at any speed and without prior warning a fuel smell was coming though the vents. This happened only in cold weather. Dealer inspected the vehicle several times, and could not duplicate or correct the problem while it was on warranty. As soon the warranty expired dealer replaced, at owner expense of $680, the throttle cable and the gas filter.
